The Juggle-Jiggle Song

Lovely New People!

This is the first day of your life as a Naked Snail! Congratulations! 🫸 🪱

Don't forget: in English a 'naked snail' is called a SLUG. So I will sometimes start my messages like this: Hello darling Slugs! :)

Now, as your welcome gift, I would like to give you your very first Juggle-Jiggle audio file! 🎧 (You'll find it below.)

But what exactly is a Juggle-Jiggle? Or maybe a Jiggle-Juggle? It’s the name I have given to my daily lessons: audio files, readings, fun topics to practice with. We JUGGLE and JIGGLE with the English language.

If you’re not sure about the meaning of these two words, no worries—you’ll understand from the audio. It’s 21 minutes long. Come on, let’s go! You can listen while you’re walking, biking, washing dishes, cooking, or DOING LAUNDRY (washing the clothes).

Enjoy your first Juggle-Jiggle (or JJ for short)!

PRACTICE OFFER

  1. APPROXIMATELY (circa) what percentage of this Juggle-Jiggle did you understand? You can share below in the comment section or send me an email at [email protected]. This is important for the concept of comprehensible input to work.
  2. Check out the words and expressions highlighted in GOLDEN in this post. Did you know all of them? If not, what are your plans with these new words? Choose from the list below:
    • DRAW the words with coloured pens or write them in a beautiful notebook
    • make flashcards to QUIZ yourself (ANKI is a great app for this)
    • ACT them OUT in a really EXAGGERATED (dramatic) way
    • turn them into a DANCING song
    • SHOUT them out into the wind (why not?!)
    • take NOTES on your phone and set them as your screen wallpaper

... or do anything else that feels fun! What other creative ways can you think of to make these words stick in your mind? LET YOUR IMAGINATION RUN WILD!
